Trapped with Jester

I absolutely loved this game!!

So my favorite ending the the Marriage Vows Ending. I just loooove his voice and his pizzazz, I love this game

y'all i just found the voiceactor to jester i am in heaven. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA the game is so good i have now replayed it about 30 times ^^ AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

It was pretty short, but interesting nonetheless.

I was really enamored with figuring out the MC while trying to glean what Jester's motives were in the beginning. I really hope that you release more stuff in this world (just because I'm incredibly curious and my mind is running wild with the prospects.)

I honestly wasn't expecting to enjoy this so much. It was so good that I'm actually kind of sad that the interaction was so short. Still, you did an amazing job!<3

oh my, i loved this so much!! even with the limitations of the gamejam, this was amazing!! will we ever see more of jester?

I would love to see this story expanded upon someday if you ever feel up to it! I had fun uncovering what happened and finding the different endings. Also really enjoyed Jester and I'd love to see what he'd be like down different expanded routes. If you ever revisit this concept I'll be first in line for it!

While the game doesn't have any fearful moments its story and looks make up to it. It is mind blowing that all of this was made with one BG, Character Sprite and one voice actor. Another great job by this talented team. Keep up the great work.

MY PLAYTROUGH OF THE GAME:

It was an interesting game, definitely on the short side but that's to be expected, the quality of the game is high and the dialogue that is there flows pretty well. There wasn't much depth painted on the Jester and that's what kind of knocked it down a bit for me, he didn't seem playful enough and didn't really give you that feeling of evil.  Other than that though the game is definitely worth playing.

Solid 8/10 for sure.

Wow, not going to lie I originally played it for the thirst trap jester but i'm really glad I played it. The plot eludes to a more grandois story that we don't get to see that sticks at the edge of your mind and keeps you imagining what the story could be. Furthermore I also really enjoyed how Jester stayed himself. Without going into spoiler-ish detail, no matter what reactions you chose he never felt like he lost character or turned into something he wasn't, he was very well cemented in his role giving him this chipper and almost mysterious aura of being care-free. I would highly enjoy it if we got to see more of him in the future, and even if not I'm going to be following for more of your amazing work! Thank you!

I did not expect a slap to cause... that.  Yikes.

Very good for a quick project.  Voice acting for the Jester was great, mixed feels on the offscreen characters.  Some of the options felt a little too limiting but overall a good little game.  Character artwork is very well designed and the faces can be a bit creepy.

I'm not part of the thirsty train (never am) but very truly interested in seeing more of this little world and what happens with everything around them in either location they end up in.  The little mention of him drinking a bit too much resulting in that was an interesting little bit about how he and presumably others like him work and whether one character was originally so innocent as implied considering the other options...  Was it the stress or the betrayal?  Did the character come back wrong or was it something buried beneath the whole time even before the little psyche/spiritual intrusion?

Regardless, thanks for making this!

The game is great in terms of voice, design, endings but the play time is a little short and there could maybe be more endings or there could be more story before an ending but overall a great game

11/10 would recommend this game

This was such a great visual novel! I love the creative liberties you took and the extra mile you went (literally you animated Jester's mouth moving and had a VA absolutely kill the role!) I absolutely love how we can uncover the poor story of MC/Master as well as Jester's personality, personally I didn't find him annoying to begin with but I can understand in MC/Master's situation why he would seem annoying. I also love Jester's overall look, seriously looks great. I'm imagining how absolutely fucked the royal family would be when MC/Master storms in filled with anger with Jester feeding such darkness until MC/Master is fully corrupted. Great job I truly wanna play more to see the epilogue of each route but I'm content of daydreaming it myself, amazing job for everyone involved!!!
