Surprise? I guess?

Not really if you follow my Twitter.

Honestly, I wasn't planning to join NaNoreno and I was supposed to join a team or two... but this and that happened, the team dissolved a few days into the jam and I ended up making this.

Blame FGO.

If you're up-to-date with FGO Global's events, you'd know that there was a recently concluded event, Aeaean Spring Breeze... yeah. That's how it started.

So, what is this game about?

About Pre-Odyssey

Pre-Odyssey is a girl-meets-boy otome about Penelope, the Greek hero (who has yet to become a hero) Odysseus and... Penelope's ducks. 

Why ducks? Plot spoilers (wait, there's plot???). You can find out by Google though!

The story is set before the Trojan War. Think of it as an origin story to Penelope and Odysseus' relationship... but with ducks.

Features:

The game features about 30k words (at least according to Renpy...), a post-game bonus and one love interest (Odysseus, of course!). Like PrinHero, there are choices that immediately lead to bad ends... but there are also choices that will only show its effect later.

The romance development between Penelope and Odysseus can become more comical, or sweet depending on certain choices... and each branch may or may not have unique CGs, so I hope you'd try replaying them to see them all!

Future Updates?
The mobile version will be released later next week (if I have energy left ORZ). The release will be announced.

I was rushing for the NaNo deadline, so I haven't properly beta tested the game. If you find any bugs, typos or errors... do inform me.

I don't know if I'll update the CG artworks because I admit, they are extremely rushed. They're practically sketches ^^"
