If you've been following my Twitter, then you would be familiar with this title.

"Thorn for the Villain~ Reincarnated as an Extra in an Otome Game?!" is an otome isekai otome, something I've been wanting to create. 

This will also be my biggest game yet, which I'm estimating to have more than 150k words; while the current demo only has 20k words, the common route I've written so far have actually already reached 50k+ words (although it's still subject to re-write). 

Now, for some Q&A-

Q: Will this game be free?

A: No. This will be my first paid release. The full game will be $9.69 (feel free to bonk me).

Q: Will there be more love interests?

A: ...What I can say is, for the current cast that has appeared, none of them are romanceable aside from Vicenzo and Edel.

Q: Can I stream the game?

A: Yes! No need to ask for permission, though preferably, please stream with commentary. HOWEVER! Early beta access versions are prohibited from being streamed or leaked since certain assets and other content on those versions are likely to be placeholders.

Q: Will you be doing a Kickstarter?

A: No. Running one will prolong the development time for the game, plus I can manage with creating all the assets that I need (royalty free for music) myself.

However, it will be super helpful if you can donate! While I do everything solo, I can't voice act everything (I wish lol). I have some budget set aside for VAs, but if you can donate, I can add even more voice acting and other content to the game.

Q: Do I get anything for donating?

A: Yes, depending on how much you donate. 

If you've seen the download page, there are rewards for donating certain amounts:

$6.69 - Digital copy of the game once it's fully released (consider this a discount price!)

$20- Your name in the credits (in-game, for the full release)

$30- Early beta access for updated demos, as well as early copy for the game.

$40- Special name dialogue (if you customize Teresa's name, you can choose a name that will result to certain special dialogue from certain characters, such as nicknames. Chosen names are subject to review.) 

$75- Portrait at the pub (You can have a missing/wanted or special ad posted at the pub of the game; human characters only. Content of the poster will be subject to review.) 

-And yes, you get the lower tiers as well if you donate over the required amount.

Q: When is the game's release?

A: I'm hoping to have it released by next year. Of course, there can be delays due to unforeseen circumstances... announcements and updates for such case will be posted in this account.

Q: Do you need additional VAs? Composers? Artists?

A: Not at the moment... plus I don't have the budget ^^"

Q: Will there be an update to the current demo?

A: Yup! I'm still trying to decide if I should include the full common route to the demo or if I should have at least the first chapters of the romance routes... but it'll definitely be updated. Those with early beta access will get to play first though!

Oh, but the web browser version will NOT be receiving updates due to size limitations; I was barely able to fit the current one in.

Q: Will it be available for Android?

A: I do hope to make an Android version at a later date, but I likely wouldn't be able to work on that until after the game is completed since I'll have to make a lot of work on the UI for that.

Q: Will my save from the demo carry over to the updated versions?

A: It should. However,  content of demo versions are subject to change which could cause certain errors.

Q: Am I allowed to make fanart/fanfic of the game?

A: Why not? Go wild.

Q: When is the next update?

A: Probably August, since I'll be taking a week break after this game jam before resuming development.

Q: Will this be available on Steam?

A: I can't promise anything, but my publisher is open to releasing it on Steam; though one thing is for certain, it'll be released here on Itchio first- no simultaneous release. Additionally, it'll probably be a 'different version' due to certain Steam release rules and guidelines.

Q: What about your other demos?

A: Three Princes and Adarna needs a huge overhaul in its coding since it was one of my earlier works and the way I coded it wasn't optimal, so it's in the backburner for now.

As for To Become a Tengu- I'm not the project lead for that one, but rest assured, it is still being worked on.
