This update is a tad late, isn't it? (It's just a day late, ok?) BUT! Intentionally so- because oh boy, we've got a lot to cover this time!

Progress Report

So, those who availed early beta-access ($30 and up), get ready! Updates will go live next Saturday, May 11th (GMT+8)~

I will be posting another devlog once it's up. 

So, what should you be expecting for this update? Well, the first half of the demo had more focus of Vicenzo, which means we'll be seeing some Edel screen time here. We'll also be introduced to some new faces!

I've previously  mentioned it on my socials- that Thorn for the Villain~Reincarnated as an Extra in a Otome Game?! isn't a survival otome... surviving isn't your ultimate goal. You need to survive to proceed, but at its core,  it is an otome isekai.

If you found the first half to be too intense, don't worry, this half will give you some break! ...Maybe. 



So, for this version, can you continue with your previous save file?
-Technically, yes, but it will break some codes going forward, so it'll be best to start a new file. 

Do note, there are some rules regarding the beta access update. Naturally, sharing it isn't allowed. Streaming is also prohibited for now. 



There are also scenarios in the demo update that are supposed to be voiced, but have not been recorded yet as they are still subject to change.

I know I've been stuck in the common route for a while now... and you'll see why. 

Er- barring the fact that I ended up doing a lot of editing to the first draft in order to improve pacing.

That said, I hope those who have access to the early beta will enjoy this update!

Dev Corner

Ok, that's enough about the upcoming update...  this time, we'll talk about the game's special otome-term definition feature!

If you've noticed, sometimes there'll be terms in-game written in bold. If you click it, the game will transition you to the term's definition.

I've implemented this cause I later realized that this might be some people's first otome game, so I figured... why not be the otome game that teaches about otome games? 

I want this to be accessible to both otome game veterans and newbies. 

I hope that veterans will enjoy the throwbacks and references while newbies get to have otome lessons (lol).

Next Update

Next update will be in a week and a half. I just need to complete a few more things, test the build and hope that everything's ready by then!

So if you have beta access, you may download the update as soon as it goes up. There'll be an announcement for the update release.
